Homework

Times Tables.

During years 3 and 4 your child is expected to learn all the times tables from 2 to 12. Each week your child will have a times table to learn.

 

Times Tables Rock Stars is a great way to practise the times tables. Go to 'www.ttrockstars.com' and log on using your childs username and password.

 

Hit the button is also another fun times tables game to play. www.topmarks.co.uk/maths-games/hit-the-button

Your child may be set homework using the website 'www.mymaths.co.uk'. The tasks are chosen by Mrs Turner and your child's results are recorded.

 

1. To access the set task you can click on the image to the left.

2. Next, enter the login information to get into the 'Charsfield Portal': 

  • login- charsfield
  • password- circle

3.Then your child needs to input their username and password.

 

If your child does not have access to the internet at home we can accomodate this at school. Please come and see Mrs Turner to discuss this.

Your child will sometimes be asked to complete some 'Free Writing' for homework. If you need more information about what this is, please click on the image to the left or here.

Staff

Mrs Turner - Teacher

 

Mrs Turner and Mrs Merry are the teachers in Wrens class. Mrs Turner enjoys teaching literacy and maths, linking it in with the class topic and the children’s own interests. Mrs Merry is a talented musician who enjoys teaching music and French in imaginative ways. Mrs Turner and Mrs Merry co-plan their lessons together.
